Market Harborough
A shoppers haven. Apart from some of the "majors", Market Harborough has an abundance of exquisite specialist upmarket small shops. The Town Centre, with its mature trees and wide pavements has a very continental feel to it and there are several enticing alleys choc a bloc with more individualistic shops. Several good walkways around the town (all on the flat) and some spectacular gardens and floral displays , especially along the River Welland make this itself a reason to visit the town.

Shopping
Market Harborough itself is excellent for shopping whether you are looking for clothes, house hold utensils or antique bargains and if you are lucky the French Market might be in town. Surrounding Market Harborough are also lots of quaint villages and small towns with lovely shops, the kind you like to explore and seem to go on forever. The new Highcross shopping centre in Leicester is also easily accessible
